Kesalahan yang dilakukannya sering menimbulkan kekuatiran serta perasaan yang tidak menyenangkan bagi lingkungannya, orangtuanya. Kesalahan yang diperbuat para remaja hanya akan menyenangkan diri sendiri dan teman sebayanya. Hal ini karena mereka semua memang sama-sama masih dalam masa mencari identitas diri. Kesalahan-kesalahan yang menimbulkan kekesalan lingkungan inilah yang sering disebut sebagai kenakalan remaja.
Remaja merupakan aset masa depan dari suatu bangsa. Di samping hal-hal yang menggembirakan dengan kegiatan positif dan prestasi yang diraih remaja-remaja pada waktu akhir-akhir ini serta pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh organisasi-organisasi pelajar dan mahasiswa, kita juga melihat arus kemorosotan moral yang semakin melanda di kalangan sebagian pemuda-pemuda kita, yang sering terkenal dengan sebutan kenakalan remaja. Dalam pemberitaan dimedia cetak dan media ditelevisi sering kali kita menemui berita tentang perkelahian pelajar, penyebaran narkotika, minuman keras, penjambret dan pencurian lainnya yang dilakukan anak-anak berusia belasan tahun serta meningkatnya kasus-kasus kehamilan di kalangan remaja putri dan lain sebagainya.
Hal tersebut merupakan suatu masalah dari kenakalan remaja yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat yang kini semakin marak terjadi, Oleh karena itu masalah kenakalan remaja seharusnya mendapatkan perhatian yang serius dan terfokus untuk mengarahkan remaja ke arah yang lebih positif, yang tujuannya untuk terciptanya suatu sistem dalam menanggulangi kenakalan di kalangan remaja.

Masa remaja sering dianggap sebagai masa yang paling rawan dalam proses kehidupan ini dan sering menimbulkan kekuatiran bagi para orangtua. Padahal bagi si remaja sendiri, masa ini adalah masa yang paling menyenangkan dalam hidupnya. Oleh karena itu, para orangtua hendaknya berkenan menerima remaja sebagaimana adanya. Jangan terlalu membesar-besarkan perbedaan dan memaksakan kehendak, orangtua para remaja hendaknya justru menjadi pemberi motivasi dan teladan di depan, di tengah membangkitkan semangat serta di belakang mengawasi segala tindak tanduk si remaja.

Kepribadian adalah suatu organisasi yang dinamis pada sistem psikosomatis dalam individu yang turut menentukan caranya yang unik dalam menyesuaikan dirinya dengan lingkungannya (biasanya disebut karakter psikisnya). Masa remaja dikatakan sebagai suatu masa yang berbahaya. Pada periode ini, seseorang meninggalkan masa anak-anak untuk menuju masa dewasa. Masa ini di rasakan sebagai suatu Krisis identitas karena belum adanya pegangan, sementara kepribadian mental untuk menghindari timbulnya kenakalan remaja atau perilaku menyimpang.
b) Faktor Kondisi Fisik

Sikap kurang tegas dalam menangani tindakan penyimpangan perilaku ini akan semankin meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas tindak penyimpangan di kalangan anak muda.
c. Kondisi Geografis atau Kondisi Fisik Alam
Kondisi alam yang gersang, kering, dan tandus, dapat juga menyebabkan terjadinya tindakan yang menyimpang dari aturan norma yang berlaku, lebih-lebih apabila individunya bermental negative. Misalnya, melakukan tindakan pencurian dan mengganggu ketertiban umum, atau konflik yang bermotif memperebutkan kepentingan ekonomi.
d. Faktor Kesenjangan Ekonomi dan Disintegrasi Politik
Kesenjangan ekonomi antara orang kaya dan orang miskin akan mudah memunculkan kecemburuan sosial dan bentuk kecemburuan sosial ini bisa mewujudkan tindakan perusakan, pencurian, dan perampokan. Disintegrasi politik (antara lain terjadinya konflik antar partai politik atau terjadinya peperangan antar kelompok dan perang saudara) dapat mempengaruhi jiwa remaja yang kemudian bisa menimbulkan tindakan-tindakan menyimpang.
e. Faktor Perubahan Sosial Budaya yang Begitu Cepat
Perkembangan teknologi di berbagai bidang khususnya dalam teknologi komunikasi dan hiburan yang mempercepat arus budaya asing yang masuk akan banyak mempengaruhi pola tingkah laku anak menjadi kurang baik, lebih-lebih anak tersebut belum siap mental dan akhlaknya, atau wawasan agamanya masih rendah sehingga mudah berbuat hal-hal yang menyimpang dari tatanan nilai-nilai dan norma yang berlaku.
2.3 Gejala atau tanda-tanda seorang remaja mengalami kenakalan remaja
1. anak-anak tidak disukai oleh teman-temannya sehingga anak tersebut menyendiri.
2. Anak-anak yang sering menghindarkan diri dari tanggung jawab di rumah atau sekolah.
3. Anak-anak yang sering mengeluh dalam arti bahwa mereka mengalami masalah yang oleh dia sendiri tidak sanggup mencari permasalahannya.
4. Anak-anak yang suka berbohong.
5. Anak-anak yang tidak sanggup memusatkan perhatian.
6. Anak-anak yang mengalami phobia dan gelisah dalam melewati batas yang berbeda dengan ketakutan anak-anak normal.
7. Anak-anak yang suka menyakiti / mengganggu teman-temannya disekolah atau dirumah.
2.4 Perilaku-perilaku yang merupakan kenakalan remaja
Berdasarkan pengertian kenakalan remaja diatas kami mengadakan pengamatan tentang beberapa perilaku remaja yang termasuk kenalan remaja di lingkungan sekitar, berikut beberapa contoh kenakalan remaja yang ada di lingkungan sekitar kami :
a) perbuatan awal pencurian meliputi perbuatan berkata bohong dan tidak jujur;
b) perkelahian antar siswa termasuk juga tawuran antar pelajar;
c) mengganggu teman baik disekolah maupun dilingkungan sekitarnya;
d) memusuhi orang tua dan saudara, meliputi perbuatan berkata kasar dan tidak hormat pada orang tua dan saudara;
e) Merokok dan pulang kerumah larut malam atau begadang;
f) menonton video atau media cetak yang tidak layak
g) Corat-coret tembok, dan fasilitas lainya yang ada di sekolah
h) Membolos dan
i) Mengendarai kendaraan di bawah umur tanpa helm serta ikut balapan liar
j) Selalu melanggar tata tertib
Jadi, dapat disimpulkan tindakan kenakalan remaja sangat merugikan bagi remaja dan masyarakat itu sendiri.
2.5 Upaya mengatasi kenakalan remaja
Masa remaja sebagai periode merupakan suatu periode yang sarat dengan perubahan dan rentan munculnya masalah (kenakalan remaja). Untuk itu perlu adanya perhatian khusus serta pemahaman yang baik dan penanganan yang tepat terhadap remaja merupakan faktor penting bagi keberhasilan remaja di kehidupan selanjutnya, mengingat masa ini merupakan masa yang paling menentukan.
Selain itu perlu adanya kerjasama dari remaja itu sendiri, orang tua, guru dan pihak-pihak lain yang terkait agar perkembangan remaja di bidang pendidikan dan bidang-bidang lainnya dapat dilalui secara terarah, sehat dan bahagia.
Berikut Solusi dalam rangka penanggulangan kenakalan remaja :
1. Tindakan Preventif
Usaha pencegahan timbulnya kenakalan remaja secara umum dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengenal dan mengetahui ciri umum dan khas remaja. Mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan yang secara umum dialami oleh para remaja. Kesulitan-kesulitan mana saja yang biasanya menjadi sebab timbulnya pelampiasan dalam bentuk kenakalan.
Usaha pembinaan remaja dapat dilakukan melalui:
1. Menguatkan sikap mental remaja supaya mampu menyelesaikan persoalan yang dihadapinya.
2. Memberikan pendidikan bukan hanya dalam penambahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melainkan pendidikan mental dan pribadi melalui pengajaran agama, budi pekerti dan etiket.
3. Menyediakan sarana-sarana dan menciptakan suasana yang optimal demi perkembangan pribadi yang wajar.
4. Memberikan wejangan secara umum dengan harapan dapat bermanfaat.
5. Memperkuat motivasi atau dorongan untuk bertingkah laku baik dan merangsang hubungan sosial yang baik.
6. Mengadakan kelompok diskusi dengan memberikan kesempatan mengemukakan pandangan dan pendapat para remaja dan memberikan pengarahan yang positif.
7. Memperbaiki keadaan lingkungan sekitar, keadaan sosial keluarga maupun masyarakat di mana banyak terjadi kenakalan remaja.
Sebagaimana disebut di atas, bahwa keluarga juga mempunyai andil penting dalam membentuk pribadi seorang remaja. Jadi untuk memulai perbaikan, maka harus dimulai dari diri sendiri dan keluarga. Mulailah perbaikan dari sikap yang paling sederhana, seperti selalu berkata jujur meski dalam gurauan, membaca doa setiap melakukan hal-hal kecil, memberikan bimbingan agama yang baik kepada anak dan masih banyak hal lagi yang bisa dilakukan oleh keluarga. Memang tidak mudah melakukan dan membentuk keluarga yang baik, tetapi semua itu bisa dilakukan dengan pembinaan yang perlahan dan sabar.
Dengan usaha pembinaan yang terarah, para remaja akan mengembangkan diri dengan baik sehingga keseimbangan diri yang serasi antara aspek rasio dan aspek emosi akan dicapai. Pikiran yang sehat akan mengarahkan para remaja kepada perbuatan yang pantas, sopan dan bertanggung jawab yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan kesulitan atau persoalan masing-masing.
Usaha pencegahan kenakalan remaja secara khusus dilakukan oleh para pendidik terhadap kelainan tingkah laku para remaja. Pendidikan mental di sekolah dilakukan oleh guru, guru pembimbing dan psikolog sekolah bersama dengan para pendidik lainnya. Usaha pendidik harus diarahkan terhadap remaja dengan mengamati, memberikan perhatian khusus dan mengawasi setiap penyimpangan tingkah laku remaja di rumah dan di sekolah.
Sekolah adalah lembaga pendidikan formal yang memiliki pengaruh kuat terhadap perkembangan remaja. Ada banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan pihak sekolah untuk memulai perbaikan remaja, di antaranya melakukan program “monitoring” pembinaan remaja melalui kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di sekolah dan penyelenggaraan berbagai kegiatan positif bagi remaja.
Bimbingan yang dilakukan terhadap remaja dilakukan dengan dua pendekatan:
1. Pendekatan langsung, yakni bimbingan yang diberikan secara pribadi pada remaja itu sendiri. Melalui percakapan mengungkapkan kesulitan remaja dan membantu mengatasinya.
2. Pendekatan melalui kelompok, di mana ia sudah merupakan anggota kumpulan atau kelompok kecil tersebut.
2. Tindakan Represif
Usaha menindak pelanggaran norma-norma sosial dan moral dapat dilakukan dengan mengadakan hukuman terhadap setiap perbuatan pelanggaran. Dengan adanya sanksi tegas pelaku kenakalan remaja tersebut, diharapkan agar nantinya si pelaku tersebut “jera” dan tidak berbuat hal yang menyimpang lagi. Oleh karena itu, tindak lanjut harus ditegakkan melalui pidana atau hukuman secara langsung bagi yang melakukan kriminalitas tanpa pandang bulu.
Sebagai contoh, remaja harus mentaati peraturan dan tata cara yang berlaku dalam keluarga. Disamping itu perlu adanya semacam hukuman yang dibuat oleh orangtua terhadap pelanggaran tata tertib dan tata cara keluarga. Pelaksanaan tata tertib harus dilakukan dengan konsisten. Setiap pelanggaran yang sama harus dikenakan sanksi yang sama. Sedangkan hak dan kewajiban anggota keluarga mengalami perubahan sesuai dengan perkembangan dan umur.
Di lingkungan sekolah, kepala sekolahlah yang berwenang dalam pelaksanan hukuman terhadap pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah. Dalam beberapa hal, guru juga berhak bertindak. Akan tetapi hukuman yang berat seperti skorsing maupun pengeluaran dari sekolah merupakan wewenang kepala sekolah. Guru dan staf pembimbing bertugas menyampaikan data mengenai pelanggaran dan kemungkinan-kemungkinan pelanggaran maupun akibatnya. Pada umumnya tindakan represif diberikan dalam bentuk memberikan peringatan secara lisan maupun tertulis kepada pelajar dan orang tua, melakukan pengawasan khusus oleh kepala sekolah dan tim guru atau pembimbing dan melarang bersekolah untuk sementara waktu (skors) atau seterusnya tergantung dari jenis pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah.
3. Tindakan Kuratif dan Rehabilitasi
Tindakan ini dilakukan setelah tindakan pencegahan lainnya dilaksanakan dan dianggap perlu mengubah tingkah laku pelanggar remaja itu dengan memberikan pendidikan lagi. Pendidikan diulangi melalui pembinaan secara khusus yang sering ditangani oleh suatu lembaga khusus maupun perorangan yang ahli dalam bidang ini.
Solusi internal bagi seorang remaja dalam mengendalikan kenakalan remaja antara lain:
1. Kegagalan mencapai identitas peran dan lemahnya kontrol diri bisa dicegah atau diatasi dengan prinsip keteladanan.
2. Remaja harus bisa mendapatkan sebanyak mungkin figur orang-orang dewasa yang telah melampaui masa remajanya dengan baik juga mereka yang berhasil memperbaiki diri setelah sebelumnya gagal pada tahap ini.
3. Adanya motivasi dari keluarga, guru, teman sebaya untuk melakukan point pertama.
4. Remaja menyalurkan energinya dalam berbagai kegiatan positif, seperti berolahraga, melukis, mengikuti event perlombaan, dan penyaluran hobi.
5. Remaja pandai memilih teman dan lingkungan yang baik serta orangtua memberi arahan dengan siapa dan di komunitas mana remaja harus bergaul.
6. Remaja membentuk ketahanan diri agar tidak mudah terpengaruh jika ternyata teman sebaya atau komunitas yang ada tidak sesuai dengan harapan.
Jika berbagai solusi dan pembinaan di atas dilakukan, diharapkan kemungkinan terjadinya kenakalan remaja ini akan semakin berkurang dan teratasi. Dari pembahasan mengenai penanggulangan masalah kenakalan remaja ini perlu ditekankan bahwa segala usaha pengendalian kenakalan remaja harus ditujukan ke arah tercapainya kepribadian remaja yang mantap, serasi dan dewasa. Remaja diharapkan akan menjadi orang dewasa yang berpribadi kuat, sehat jasmani dan rohani, teguh dalam kepercayaan (iman) sebagai anggota masyarakat, bangsa dan tanah air.

PENUTUP
3.1 Kesimpulan
Kenakalan remaja meliputi semua perilaku yang menyimpang dari norma-norma hukum pidana yang dilakukan oleh remaja. Perilaku tersebut akan merugikan dirinya sendiri dan orang-orang di sekitarnya.
Faktor yang melatar belakangi terjadinya kenakalan remaja dapat dikelompokkan menjadi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal berupa krisis identitas dan kontrol diri yang lemah. Sedangkan faktor eksternal berupa kurangnya perhatian dari orang tua; minimnya pemahaman tentang keagamaan; pengaruh dari lingkungan sekitar dan pengaruh budaya barat serta pergaulan dengan teman sebaya; dan tempat pendidikan. Untuk menanggulanginya Remaja harus bisa mendapatkan sebanyak mungkin figur orang-orang dewasa yang telah melampaui masa remajanya dengan baik juga mereka yang berhasil memperbaiki diri setelah sebelumnya gagal pada tahap ini. Adanya motivasi dari keluarga, guru, teman sebaya merupakan hal-hal yang bisa dilakukan juga mampu mengatasi kenakalan remaja.
Adapun solusi dalam menghadapi kenakalan dapat dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu:
· Tindakan preventif, yaitu tindakan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya kenakalan remaja
· Tindakan represif, yaitu memberikan sanksi tegas kepada pelaku kenakalan remaja
· Tindakan kuratif dan rehabilitasi, yaitu mengubah tingkah laku pelanggar remaja itu dengan memberikan pendidikan lagi.
3.2 Saran
a. Orangtua
Disarankan kepada orangtua untuk dapat menjaga hubungan yang hangatdalam keluarga dengan cara saling menghargai, pengertian, dan penuh kasihsayang serta tidak bertengkar di depan anak. Serta memberi pengarahan tentang cara bergaul. Orang tua harus bisa menjadi teman, agar anak dapat terbuka dan anak dapat menjadikan orang tua sebagai seorang sahabat terpercaya.
b. Pihak Sekolah
Pihak sekolah disarankan dapat membantu siswa untuk mengenali potensi-potensi yang dimiliki siswa. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan konsep diri siswa, serta dapatmeminimalisir penggunaan kata-kata atau sikap yang dapat menurunkan konsep diri siswa.
c. Pihak Pemerintah
Perlu adanya tindakan-tindakan dari pemerintah untuk mengawasi tindakan remaja di Indonesia agar tidak terjerumus pada kenakalan remaja.
d. Masyarakat Umum
Bagi masyarakat umum hendaknya ikut berpartisipasi guna pencegahannya. Apabila melihat hal-hal yang tidak wajar yang dilakukan oleh para remaja segera laporkan ke penegak hukum setempat agar diberi penyuluhan dan pengarahan.
e. Para Remaja
Yang terpenting sebenarnya adalah bagaimana remaja dapat menempatkan dirinya sebagai remaja yang baik dan benar sesuai tuntutan dan norma yang berlaku di dalam masyarakat. Agar kita dapat menjadi remaja yang baik dan agar kita bisa menciptakan Negara dan bangsa yang sukses.
